Many of Eleanor’s poems emerge from socially-engaged and collaborative processes. Eleanor has also written many poems directly for commission. Her PhD research explored this practice in detail and her working life as a freelance poet from 2004 continues to provide insight and experience in this field of poetry writing.
Eleanor began her career as a community artist and has extensive experience in this practice.
Eleanor has led hundreds of poetry and creative writing workshops in the community and is an expert creative facilitator. She has worked with leading arts organisations in this field across her career including The Poetry School, London and The Windows Project, Liverpool delivering multiple workshops for ACE funded creative projects with adults and children.
